CASE STUDY
Peter Vardy
Brief and Overview
A practical acoustic scheme designed to improve privacy and comfort within an open-plan workplace.
Open-plan offices are effective for collaboration and making good use of available space, but noise and privacy can be challenging. Bespoke suspended acoustic panels and desk screens were introduced to absorb ambient sound while adding a visually considered feature to the office.
A Carvana acoustic pod provides a more secluded environment for focused work and private conversations. Modular shelving systems help divide the open space into different work zones, while office plants add a softer finishing touch and contribute to a more relaxed hybrid workplace.

Project Outcome
The finished office offers a better balance between open collaboration, privacy and focused work.
Acoustic panels, desk screens and the private pod help reduce disruption across the workspace, while modular shelving creates clearly defined areas without closing off the office. The addition of planting completes a calmer and more comfortable working environment.
